Look no further- Roots2River is the best rafting outfitter and provided the most thrilling rafting experience I’ve ever had. Solo traveling and staying in Quepos, I booked this the night before and they were super responsive and friendly. Yeisy picked me up, accompanied by a couple adorable dogs in the truck and brought me to the office, where I felt like I was let into the cool cats club. The energy of this group is so positive, and I felt like I was in super safe hands with Gregory and Christopher’s instruction. The scenery of the river El Naranjo is stunning, and Chris took some awesome photos capturing the action and excitement. Gregory tailored the experience to what the group was looking for; we wanted intense thrills and that’s what we got. A fantastic mix of relaxing and floating down the river, and powering through thrilling class 4 (and one class 5!) rapids. This required some strength, coordination, and a sense of adventure craving that type-2 fun. Pura vida!

As an extra bonus, there are a couple of adorable and adventurous dogs that join parts of the journey. They are incredibly friendly, full of personality, and add a unique and heartwarming touch to the whole experience. One of the best experiences my friend and I had in Costa Rica. JJ and Gregory did an amazing job hosting and guiding us with very personal service throughout the day. The fresh fruit break and lunch were great as well. Highly recommended!
